You are a typical kid living in Pallet Town, but one morning you wake up to find a nidoran, your mother, and your memory intact. You venture out into the world in the hopes of finding assistance, but you find that Pallet Town has been completely leveled. Your childhood home has been reduced to a desolate field that features an area that looks like a cave. After entering, you find a room that has been completely trashed. This is the point at which your journey starts. As you continue forward, you will come upon the destruction of the city of Viridian in the same manner. It would appear that Pallet Town was leveled before Viridian, given the fact that grass had already begun to grow on the remains of the city. You move forward with dwindling hopes, eventually making your way to Pewter, where you see a road and some buildings. Nevertheless, things are not even close to being normal…
