The story continues from the events of the previous installment, when Samus Aran returns and reveals the plot of space pirates as they use Metroids, new life forms to execute their plan. Fearing that this would continue, the Galactic Federation hired Samus Aran to return to SR388 to destroy the species once and for all. Play as Samus Aran, you will have to fight through many different levels and encounter dangerous monsters. You will be provided with a device that tracks the surrounding Metroid. When destroying them all, the lava will decrease and you can move to the next area. There are two types of weapons that you can use: Spazer Laser (firing three scattered bullets) and Plasma Beam (firing energy through enemies), but you can only equip one.
